California National Guard general fired after he allegedly made troops take his mom shopping

Shame on you soon to be former General... Don't invoke the "wingman concept" unless you're willing to drive your own Airmen 120 miles to a Dental appt and/or take their Mom's to the grocery store.

Also, as a former cyber warfare officer, I am absolutely embarrassed by the Air Force's choice in cyber awareness training, but I still took the training. When leadership orders others to do it for them, it demonstrates to me that they do not respect our very serious issues in cyber defense. Dealing with similar generals in the past such as this one impeded our progress in evolving our cyber defense postures across the Air Force. I managed to turn some into cyber advocates, but there were many others who would never get it.
