If Germany has truly learned from its history, it will send tanks to defend Ukraine

This is a real game changer. Other nations, especially Poland, have ample supplies of German-built Panther tanks that they want to send to Ukraine, but under agreements by which they purchased them, they could not resell them to other nations without Germany's approval. I can well-imagine that these are not on their way to Ukraine even before we heard this news, and this will be a real game changer in the anticipated Spring offenses
