Election fraud happens.

Is it as rampant as some say? No, but it DOES happen. Saying it doesn't happen just makes you an 'election (fraud) denier'.

Is it only something that happens on one side or the other? Nope. Election fraud is a truly bi-partisan occurrence. Does it happen on one side MORE than the other? Who knows.

Bottom line - anything that casts doubt on the integrity of an election is bad and should be addressed. Many are partisan and don't seem to care about it until it impact on a candidate they support or turn a blind eye to it because it might adversely impact on some partisan idea/talking point/etc.

Agreed… however, I am concerned with the number of really close elections occurring all over the place. Are these examples pushing them to become closer than they normally would be? Are they pushing some candidates over the line? Who knows? I’m not one to question the integrity of the elections per say, but I would feel better if more Americans would demand more vigilance and improvements to ensuring maximum security while enabling maximum voter turn out.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - Completely agree. I pointed this out before that there have been Democrats that were declared winners who were overturned on a close recount as well as Republicans in the same situation.

Any system that regularly has results that when 'run again' differ from the results from before has flaws.

Election integrity SHOULD be a simple bi-partisan issue that all could get behind. However, like everything else these days, one side will demonize the other because "their solution" isn't "our solution" or one side will take advantage of the other actually seeking compromise to try and shove a poison pill or some partisan advantage into the solution.

It's tragically like that old joke about two visually impaired individuals describing an elephant - one describes the trunk and the other describes the tail. In this partisan environment, the one describing the tail calls the one describing the trunk a liar who needs to be destroyed because they are a moron/evil/etc. who is obviously wrong and trying to gaslight everyone.
