I have to wonder just what they're calling "Sexual Assault" these days; without stretching the imagination at all, the following could be in today's environment: making a uniform correction, a hand gesture, a motivational comment, an expressed observation during PT, or in a formation, during a class demonstration, ad-nauseum. Yes, I do know of the UCMJ's definition of, but then there is the "ME TOO" that has permeated the Uniform Services over the last 12 years at least. So, as to the alleged sexual assault(s):
1. Was it consensual sexual liaisons with the partner(s) changing their mind after the fact.
2. Was it "graft" {I'll eliminate those demerits if you...}
3. Are the victims using this cadet to cover other improprieties that were known by all?
4. Or, was it grab-ass or breasts in a stairwell maybe.
One can't tell by the information that's been released if it's a UCMJ Article 120 or Article 134, or something else entirely, but since it's occurring at the north end of town, you can be sure I'll be following the story.

There are a lot of he said she said accusations here. My guess is that since it went to trial the Prosecution had enough to carry it forward or it would not have gone. The first one where she told him to change positions is not a no. NO is NO. My other question is why are they just now coming forward? I know it can be difficult and I can't imagine the stigma attached to this but when it happened that is when it is time to attack. BUT in my book, one is an anomaly and two or more is a trend. If they find him guilty, I hope he goes to Leavenworth where they will show him what nonconsensual really means!
