A gunman killed 10 people and wounded 10 others at a Los Angeles-area ballroom dance club following a Lunar New Year celebration, setting off a manhunt for the suspect in the latest mass shooting tragedy in an American community. Capt. Andrew Meyer of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said Sunday that the wounded were taken to hospitals and their conditions range from stable to critical. He said the 10 people died at the scene in the city of Monterey Park.
Meyer gave no description of the male suspect or the weapon he used, or why police gave no information on the shooting for hours while the shooter remained on the run. He also said police were investigating another incident in the nearby city of Alhambra to see whether it was connected.

Was that in a "Gun Free" zone? I've been curious about that since my last Concealed Carry class because of comments by the instructor about many of these taking place in Free Zones.

This is an abhorrent event and my heart goes out to the victim's family and friends.
It's somewhat surprising not to hear from Gov. Newsome, POTUS, and other politicians about more restrictive firearm laws. Lt Col Charlie Brown Note: California has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation including the infamous assault weapons.

I was wondering the same thing. I'll bet this doesn't get any long term national airplay as the shooter doesn't fit the descriptive narrative.
