watching the return to the moon with interest. All that wonderful Helium 3! If we can get fusion to work. Seems to be some progress with the recent 2nd ignition. I belive it has been done before but scientists were not able to repeat it. Have to do some research. The first time might have been an entirely different method of confined fusion.

Can't wait till it has a mis hap and irradiates the area. I think nukes are just like old boilers.. one mishap and your history.

fission nuclear propulsion has been in development since the 1960's or earlier. Fusion thrust... now that's a different animal.

Still fictional but google "Epstein Drive" the sci-fi show that has it in it is quite realistic but that's about the most liberty's they take with current technology... complex statements there. I'm exhausted so I might not be making sense.
