White Cop NOT CHARGED In Tyre Nichols Death … Even After Video Shows Him TASING Fallen Man! (Video)

The video shows that the officers tracked him down – like a dog – and beat him so badly, so passionately, that he died from his injuries a few days later.

The Memphis PD did their own “internal investigation”, and within two weeks, five officers who beat him were fired and charged with murder. But the video clearly shows that one of the officers involved – was WHITE!!

As these screenshot show, the officer who tased Tyre as he lay on the ground fighting for his life, was White.

2.) Police experts say Tyre Nichols' arrest was filled with procedural violations

January 28, 20235:15 PM ET

Many across the country have been reeling from the newly released footage of Tyre Nichols' arrest. Among those most shocked are former police officers and criminal justice experts who say that very little of the arrest went by protocol.

"All the actions here, from the very first interaction, really, run counter to how we expect officers, how we train officers to behave," said Ian Adams, a professor in the department of criminology and criminal justice at the University of South Carolina.

"It's hard to find reason in what seems incredibly unreasonable," Adams told NPR.

3.) Memphis city councilman calls for termination of officer who tased Tyre Nichols: 'Must be fired'
The Memphis officer can be heard on the body camera saying 'I hope they stomp his a--'

By Adam Sabes | Fox News

In one of four videos released by Memphis officials on Friday, an unidentified officer can be seen telling Nichols to "get on the ground" before tasing him.

After Nichols is seen running away, the same officer can be heard in the bodycam video saying, "I hope they stomp his a--."

"The officer who tased Tyre Nichols  and who compelled the other officers to stomp him must be fired. We must put an end to the culture that allows excessive force and assumes it is commonplace," Smiley Jr. said.

5 former Memphis officers indicted on murder and kidnapping charges in Tyre Nichols' death as nation braces for release of police video

Updated 1:34 AM EST January 27, 2023

Five former Memphis police officers who were fired for their actions during the arrest of Tyre Nichols earlier this month were indicted on charges including murder and kidnapping, Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy announced Thursday.
The former officers, Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Justin Smith, Emmitt Martin and Desmond Mills Jr., have each been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault, two charges of aggravated kidnapping, two charges of official misconduct and one charge of official oppression, Mulroy said.

Second-degree murder is defined in Tennessee as a "knowing killing of another" and is considered a Class A felony punishable by between 15 to 60 years in prison.
The criminal charges come about three weeks after Nichols, a 29-year-old Black man, was hospitalized after a traffic stop and "confrontation" with Memphis police that family attorneys have called a savage beating. Nichols died from his injuries on January 10, three days after the arrest, authorities said.

Police nationwide have been under scrutiny for how they treat Black people, particularly since the Minneapolis police murder of George Floyd in May 2020 and the mass protest movement known as Black Lives Matter.

Video to be released Friday evening

Video of the fatal police encounter, a mix of body-camera and pole-cam video, is expected to be released publicly after 6 p.m. Friday, Mulroy said.

Speaking to CNN's Erin Burnett on Thursday night, Mulroy said that while he can't definitively say what caused the encounter to escalate, the video shows that the officers were "already highly charged up" from the start of the video and "it just escalated further from there."

The video doesn't capture the beginning of the altercation between the officers and Nichols but rather "cuts in as the first encounter is in progress," Mulroy said.

"What struck me (about the video) is how many different incidents of unwarranted force occurred sporadically by different individuals over a long period of time," the district attorney added.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch said the fatal encounter was not proper policing.

It is often overlooked that Kap’s decision to take a knee began as a tactful compromise with a veteran member of the US Army Special Forces. Nate Boyer, a Green Beret and witness of “genocide firsthand in Darfur,” penned an open letter to Kap after spotting him sitting during the national anthem in 2016.

“I’m not judging you for standing up for what you believe in. It’s your inalienable right,” Boyer wrote. “What you are doing takes a lot of courage, and I’d be lying if I said I knew what it was like to walk around in your shoes. I’ve never had to deal with prejudice because of the color of my skin, and for me to say I can relate to what you’ve gone through is as ignorant as someone who’s never been in a combat zone telling me they understand what it’s like to go to war.”

What does “take a knee” mean in military?

In general, taking a knee in the military is a sign of respect or simply taking a rest while on a mission. It’s a gesture that many soldiers will participate in at the foot of a fallen friend’s grave and isn’t seen as a negative at all.

Additionally, a soldier in the military might take a knee as more of a defensive maneuver. Getting on one knee allows the person to be in a better position, almost like at the start of a track meet, where they able to quickly run or pivot at the drop of a hat.

With the recent news coverage claiming that kneeling during the national anthem is disrespectful to soldiers and veterans, some service members, especially within the Army find the uproar strange.
In the Army, take a knee means that you’re pausing, taking a breather, and stepping back to consider a situation. By no means is it a disrespectful gesture.
