Let me ask you, if you were in a fight for your survival after your country was invaded by a regional power, would you want to have tanks or not have tanks?

Tanks are an escalation which requires a similar response from the other side. The other side not only has thousands more tanks, but their tank crews are well trained and experienced. If you know anything about tank warfare you know that survivability on the battlefield for untrained or inexperienced tank crews is very low. It won't be a fair fight. The West are virtue signaling with these gifts of sophisticated military equipment that Ukraine neither has the personnel to train, nor those with the aptitude to master them. They will be rolling coffins.

MAJ Montgomery Granger - You don't think the Russians are already using tanks? That tanks on the Ukraine side would be an "escalation"? It hasn't been a "fair fight" since day one, but since when did "fair" have anything to do with warfare?

What we do know as undisputed fact is that Russia invaded Ukraine. The motives as to why they did that may be argued, but that Russia invaded is undisputed. So you would have me believe that if you were a Ukrainian, you would say "no thanks" and refuse to take the weapon systems offered? That the Ukrainians are just too stupid and backward to deal with such sophisticated weaponry... that is your view?

I get that you are all in for the Russians, but the Ukrainians have been holding their own against a foreign invasion quite well. You may want to ask yourself why you are siding with a country that would violently impose its will upon another. Maybe the stars and stripes that represent freedom and individual determination are not for you.

MAJ Montgomery Granger simple question: If russian tanks crews are so well trained and experienced why are they getting 12 kinds of shit kicked out of time virtually everywhere they go?

A cynical man might start to question your motivations…

..."“Ukraine will integrate recent commitments of armored vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles and tanks with fires that achieve the effect of synchronized ground maneuver,” said Milley.

He did not list the 11 tank suppliers specifically, but did refer to the growing number of countries partnering on the international Leopard main battle tank coalition involving Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal and Spain."...

I'm not impressed, SGT. Tanks don't fight themselves. They need intelligent, strong, well trained and experienced crews just to survive on the battlefield. Ukraine does not have the personnel to train on the tanks let alone the infrastructure to maintain them.
