Chamberlain commanded the 20th Maine at the Battle of Little Roundtop during the Gettysburg Campaign. When the 20th ran low on ammo, he had them fix bayonets and lead a downhill charge that routed the Confederate Forces. One of my heroes in American History. How he walked around with balls that big is beyond me.
