Sir, what concerns me about this conflict between Russia and Ukraine is just how much interest China seems to be growing but is trying to deny the allegations, Would this be enough for NATO to start moving ground forces in to assist Ukraine? I honestly can see China assisting Russia with putting "boots" on the ground and giving more equipment support, just to give Russia a glimmer of hope to win the Conflict, Putin should be extremely concerned/embarrassed with how many troops and lives Russia has lost in the first yr if you look back history when Russia was at war with Afghanistan they didn't lose this many lives the entire war. Should NATO get the early jump and assist Ukraine with Boots on the ground and finish Russia off while sending a message to China to stay out of it? I would love to hear your opinion sir.

Russia sees NATO on its border as an existential threat. If any more is done to defeat Russia and expel them from more of the land that they have recently taken such as Crimea I believe that Putin will then employ his tactical nuclear option and Ukraine will have no response because Ukraine has not nukes. I do not believe that NATO or the US would risk the prospect of full thermonuclear war. If we put boots on the ground not only would China see an opportunity to invade Twain because we would be other wise engaged but it would signal to Putin that he must now unleash nuclear war on all of NATO. Like it or not Russia holds the strategic advantage here.

Ukraine has to win or the US has wasted almost $ 27,000,000,000.

SPC Robert Coventry - I agree and said the same thing for Afghanistan but we were gravely disappointed in an outcome that cost us 20 years of blood and treasure. Like I said Im not rooting for the Russians to win ... just thinking about "what if..."
