If the purpose was to have an all woman flyover, that should have been the premise from the start

The premise was never to have an all-woman flyover. It appears that was an after though by our military… after the lineup was already announced. That just wasn’t right.

SFC (Join to see) - I agree; on a lighter note, I was honored(?) to get a jump at Bragg in the 80s that was reportedly the first all female crew. The five hour flight went well and nothing was amiss until the jumpmaster did his door check -- went to the wrong dropzone -- insert joke here...needless to say, it didn't get the fanfare the PA office was intending

SFC (Join to see) Was there not an earlier post that claimed the flyover was 30 minutes late due to a late piss call? https://dainikbidyaloy.com/2023/02/13/super-bowl-flyover-featuring-all-female-pilots-running-20-minutes-late/
Super Bowl Flyover Featuring All Female Pilots Running 20 Minutes Late
The Super Bowl flyover team featuring exclusively female pilots has informed NFL officials that they are running a "little behind." "We'll be right there! Sorry!" radioed pilot Amy Donaldson to an antsy crew at the stadium. "Just make yourselves comfortable!"

When they start making cards for a Super Bowl, that’s a piece of history they were scheduled for, and then removed from on short notice. A poor decision was made. MHO
