What I don't understand is why there is so much resistance to the position it was created in a lab and released either by accident or design. The Chinese have not been forthcoming, there was in fact a lab studying that exact virus in the area, and no one has been able to definitively conclude it was born out in the wild. Instead, diversionary arguments are made (racism, only my medical sources are correct, etc). Something stinks here and we're essentially allowing the Chinese to get away with their lack of transparency.

I think it is that they (China) are afraid of the liability for killing over 1.1 million in the US Alone.

Also, I don't think that they want to admit things this deadly can just accidentally get out of a "secure" facility
