An explosive device was discovered in a checked bag on Monday at eastern Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley International Airport. The suspect, 40-year-old Mark Muffley, was set to fly on Allegiant to Orlando Sanford International Airport. ABC News reported that a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent detected a suspicious object hidden in the lining of Muffley’s checked bag shortly after 11 a.m.

We saw this on evening news yesterday. What possesses people to do stuff like this? Give him his weekly medications and send him home on an outpatient basis, he will be alright. That's what our state has effectively done closing most of our institutions that cared for people like this.
Maybe he was just of criminal intent and not mentally ill, I am only guessing.
