The One Change to Russia Putin Couldn't Predict (War in Ukraine)

Much of the world is struggling with depopulation. Japan has invested billions to develop robots to care for the elderly because there aren't enough young people to do the job. Many European nations have opened their borders to replace aging populations with diverse peoples. Other European nations have closed their borders to avoid "diluting" their ethnically homogenous populations and are losing numbers. Americas declining birthrate has been propped up with a flood of Latin Americans. It seems Putin's solution is to acquire people as a plunder of war.
