Lt Col Charlie Brown this has to stop, could mess up the ecological systems and surrounding communities for life. Need some legislation to make it safer IMHO.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - watched the hearings on the derailment on C-SPAN about a month ago, some trains have just one engineer for a 150+ train car, "just-saying"

Davis Jr., MSM, DSL - My son says that due to massive layoffs in maintenance they are not servicing the freight cars and doing all the track repairs to save money is where the problem is mostly coming from. I don't have any links but it sounds about right since railroads are scaling back employees to have a larger bottom line. Lt Col Charlie Brown
