Good for him, Bravo! It time for someone to find a way to stand up to those who think the loudest voice, and often the rudest, wins an argument. Those students were viciously ignorant in their assault against the judge that was there to speak, they need to learn civility and this may jerk their minds back to reality.

In this age of attention spans that last less than a cocker spaniel with ADD and ultra-partisanship, it doesn't matter why people did .. it's what people did last or are doing now.

Look at Matt Taibbi. Prior to his writing about the Twitter files, he was loved by the far left and despised by the far right. He was a prolific political writer at Rolling Stone and his books "Insane Clown President" and "I Can't Breathe" were critically acclaimed by the left and pandered by the right.

That all changed when he exposed the government involvement in suppressing speech by colluding with Twitter. Democratic politicians who were singing his praises a few years earlier now degrade him by minimizing his work and trying to cast him as someone that "is doing it for the money and fame" (side note: since that's the reason the majority of the politicians do it, its no wonder they see those motivations in others) while the Republican politicians love him.

If the exposure of government influence was exposed under a Republican president, I'm sure the roles would be exactly reversed.

Why all that discussion about Matt Taibbi? I expect the same attitude regarding the professor. People that sang his praises for going after Trump will be demonizing him for picking on the poor college students standing up for social justice ... how dare he tell them their actions could have consequences!?

Zealots only see zealotry. Someone like Taibbi or Banzhaf who actually stand on principles instead of hypocrisy are seen as useful by a zealot only as long as what they are doing aligns with their ideology .. if not, then they are evil and need to be destroyed.

Glad to see people take on those who think they can't be touched.
