The LED lights are junk. My incandescent light bulbs lasted longer than the LED I bought. ANd has not affected my utility bill one bit.

I have had my home for 5 years, now. I only buy the HE or LED bulbs, with the exception of one light fixture which uses Edison bulbs for stylistic reasons.
The Edison bulbs have never been replaced since installation 3 years ago. And I have 2 other bulbs that were here when I bought the house, of the "wasteful" variety. Every other bulbs in the house has been replaced at least twice - once to an HE / LED and then another since. Most have been 3 times.
But sure, they "last longer."
