@LTC Chu, logistics plays a key component to sustenance of the troops on the battlefield. The continuous movement of troops, equipment and ammunition requires on-time replenishments and adequate rations. Strategically, logisticians will be studying where best to replenish and refuel on the battlefield without stretching the troops and the equipment. Tactical leaders will be strategizing how best to distribute the logistics without affecting their tactical advantage on the battlefield.

WOW...I am glad we have a general obvious here...Logistics are everything to winning a war...without logistics nothing gets done. No beans, bullets, weapons, fuel, equipment...logistics is the very essence of winning a war.
