Actors just play a role. We have Black actors playing Caucasians, White actors playing Hispanics, Asian actors playing Indians, men/women playing women/men, etc. If they fit the part and can bring it to life, what's the issue?
The only time you should absolutely go for accuracy instead of entertaining the audience is if you're producing a historical documentary (while I think Christopher Jackson is a talented actor, and I love him as Chuck on Bull, I don't think he would cut it if we're trying to do a history film on George Washington). Then a factual retelling is more important than artistic license.
Other than that ... whatever bring the story to life. We ask audiences to suspend belief every time the walk into the theater or turn the tv on .. this is nothing different.
However, on that same note, stop trying to cancel actors/films or give fake outrage because someone isn't "Black enough", "Hispanic enough", or Whatever enough.

It’s time to have different ethnicity portrayed in our fantasy worlds. Look at Barbie. No woman looks like that!
