This is the “Big Lie” of our current Climate Change Industry. If you look at their calculations about being “net zero” if your car runs on gas the grade everything that goes into the vehicle and fuel used to run it. If you evaluate an EV, they give a free pass to any electricity used of the grid. They don’t count what’s producing the energy. It can vary from area to area. As usual it’s not as simple as the people advocating for Climate Change would have you believe. They truly are hypocrites.

These politicians that spent their entire life in office just don't understand how life really works, or interaction with other people(s), especially internationally.

I think this says it all and until they can bridge that gap, while providing equal or better capabilities to gas powered vehicles, there is no way this can happen effectively.

I am currently in the market for a new vehicle, and I have considered EVs and hybrids. Not because of the pressure or because some political party tells me I should, I am looking at what I can afford and what meets my requirements. To date EVs are not cost effective in any sense of the imagination. EVs also do not meet the standards of equal time to "fill up" and range. Three strikes... out (and those aren't the only strikes, they're the strikes while the batter was looking).

Truly great questions if one is buying a vehicle. Thank you. EV's are just not ready for prime time. They will put people in the poor house and cripple our electric grids. Pretty much the same conclusion can be made for wind turbines and solar energy.

SFC (Join to see) It’s a simple math problem. Like anything I buy, I look for capability, cost, and reoccurring expenses. I know that concept is hard for those that push EVs, which is why it is purely a political tool and not some desire to keep the environment clean.

An EV in my neck of the woods needs to be garaged so that the battery doesn't go low because of the cold, plus they are as impractical as the president is brother SFC (Join to see)
