If you watch this clip, you may find it dated, campy, and humorous. Since this movie was made the Soviet Union has fallen but Communist China has superseded it as the main threat. The propaganda machine that used to be guided by the Kremlin has been replaced by a version guided by (some or many) teachers from kindergarten through the various degrees. If you listen closely you will easily hear the same falsehoods updated for todays hot mess.
