It's all a shell game. They won't find qualified Ukrainians to train on the Abrams anyway. And if they did, by the time they were even close to battle ready against hardened, seasoned Russian tankers, they would be merely fodder or the war would be over - which it pretty much is now, anyway.

These will likely be used as medium range artillery pieces and not as front line tank battalions.
Sending them top line tanks was never in the calculus, and it gets them off our books. Shows the world that we are sending equipment, but not the stuff we would use in a war. Really didn't expect any more from this.
