The way I see it Texas got into this pickle because they accepted too much intermittent renewable electricity into their grid to provide for needed services when the intermittent electricity sources go down.

I believe we have a law in Pennsylvania that “requites a utility to accept all electricity from intermittent renewable sources. If the other States have the same law, we are on a road to destruction. Each electric grid needs to determine the maximum amount of intermittent electricity they accept so they can be sustainable. After that point they (the utilities) need to have the authority to refuse intermittent electricity because it is actually detrimental to our people. I’ve been talking about this on RP as long as intermittent renewable energy has been developed. People need to start looking at this realistically and realize their security is at stake. Do you want to be on the operating table when the electricity goes out and the backup generators kick in for a hospital? I don’t.
