Legally, he's got a tough fight ahead of him. In order to succeed on a self-defense claim, you have to admit that you intentionally used deadly force, which is always risky.

I was just talking to my wife about that. It is very tough, you have to admit that you killed them with intentional force, knowing what the potential outcome could be and then try to convince everyone it was in self-defense. Not to mention the state of NY is not the one of the states I would want to fight that fight...

1. So we attack New York in defense of a man that killed another man?
2. From the video, it appears at least 2 other men were there.
3. Did the person killed deserve to be executed?
4. Had the Marine simply subdued the culprit, he now would be hailed as a hero.
