Can't--the Lege only meets every two years for 140 days, the session is over at midnight on May 29th. The House is voting on impeachment on the 28th, which means that the Texas Senate will try the case on the 29th. If it runs long, someone will unplug the clock in the Senate chamber (like they do every year).
