..."Historically, vice presidents have addressed the graduating class at one of the federal service academies on a rotating basis. This will be Harris’ first visit to West Point.

In 2022, she delivered the keynote address during the U.S. Coast Guard Academy’s commencement exercises in Connecticut. In 2021, she delivered a commencement address at the U.S. Naval Academy in Maryland."...

Not sure what sacrifice these cadidiots have made, as they have yet to do anything real or go anywhere real, but sure.....

But I do love how they still push the narrative, facts be damned.

According to the article, WestPoint has been slow to diversify. Their evidence? Only a few dozen black females graduate every year.

MATH TIME.

According to the article, this year's graduating class is 950. According to the 2020 census, 12.1% of Americans are black. 12.1% of 950 is 114.95. But since you can't have .95 people, let's call it 115.

According to the DoD (https://www.defense.gov/News/Releases/Release/Article/3246268/department-of-defense-releases-annual-demographics-report-upward-trend-in-numbe/) a little over 19% of the total force is female. We'll round up to 20% for easy math. 20% of 115 is 23.

If we can expect 115 black Officers out of a graduating class of 950, then we can expect 23 black females.

The article does not state an exact number, but "a few" is usually at least 3. So looking at the minimum of 3 dozen, or 36....

West Point has been slow to diversify because ONLY 36 cadets out of an expected 23 are black females.

But they know most people won't do the math.
