Meal kits vs. grocery shopping: Which is better for your budget?

LTC Eugene Chu it is possible to save money by using the meal kits with pre measured portions and avoid waste. Additionally they are convenient. However the separate ingredients may be cheaper.

LTC Eugene Chu I take my 91 year old Christian Mentor out to eat 3 days a week at Golden Corral... his favorite place. If we get there between 2-4 p.m. it's only $9.99 + tax each... cheaper and healthier than fast-food or cooking at home.

Interesting article. I find meal kits convenient and quick, until the delivery service doesn't fit my schedule, then the meals stack up until used which further exacerbates schedule for a minute...the portion sizes are not always filling either, but most are not bad tasting
