About the only thing I have heard Whoopi say in the last decade I agree with is that before AGT where Simon Cowell was so beligerantly hostile towards competitors on live TV Americans were much less likely to be overtly critical of others vocally. We had those thoughts, but usually did not openly express them in a way that would hurt others feelings.
