I imagine that many Americans are surprised at this outpouring of support for President Putin albeit Russia. Niger has been a colony of France since 1900 to 1960, and still exerts power within the country. Pacification is the euphemism that is used to describe the French takeover and colonization.

WW 2, and supports the French again in Niger. Uranium is at the heart of this and France instead of being fair and just is getting its just due.
I would presume that if America took the moral high ground and supported, Freedom and Independence for all Nations as we fought for ourselves. The cheering would not be for Russia and Putin.
