MY SAY: Not true. Even lawful combatant POWs may be held without charge or trial "until the end of hostilities," according to the Geneva Conventions and Law of War. Those held at the US military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, are unlawful combatants, and therefore have no rights other than those benevolently provided by the United States. Gitmo detainees are LUCKY TO BE ALIVE.
