How can you have a rational and honest debate on any topic without some source of solid facts? Short answer you can't. In the case of the 2nd Amendment and gun control, it is this deficit of data is allowing the anti-gun crowd make up their own statistics while suppressing data what we pro-gunners know to be intuitively true. This article rightly points out that the areas and cities that are not reporting their data are the very ones screaming for more gun control. All this is intellectually dishonest and makes for bad policy and legislation. But we live in a world where the politics of the left wants no rational and honest debate and all they care about are cheep political points and accumulation of power.

Destruction of our country from within, as evidenced by deleting our Culture, Morals and Laws can only be complete by the elimination of the Second Amendment, it is essentially the only safeguard left. As a kid I saw these procedures implemented and forced upon my country by a communist regime which 70+ years later stills enslaves Cuba and its people.

There are laws that regulate the purchase of firearms, same as there are laws that regulate Immigration, only thing, they need to be applied.Almost exclusively criminals employ weapons to assault and kill, law abiding citizens seldom do.
Statistics in certain cities of our country demonstrate where and why crime occurs, look them up.

Extrapolating the statement "...the well regulated militia was to avoid a standing army. The founders feared a standing army." it would seem that Kelly Fuerhoff would be all for citizen having their own weapons, naval ships, MGs, fighter jets and artillery pieces in their backyards.

I'm retired with 22 years in Law Enforcement. Even the statistics that you see are not complete. When the police get over-worked, lesser incidents (like an armed citizen chasing away a robber) don't get reported, because thee was "no harm; no foul", and it takes 45 minutes to an hour to do the report, and they may have more critical calls to answer. Additionally, when the police don't respond, because of being understaffed or overworked, the citizens often don't take the time to make the call and wait 4 hours for a squad to show up that won't work on the followup, anyway.
However, MURDERS and SUICIDES must be reported. And so any gun related deaths are reported TO THE LETTER, while 'most-all other crimes are under-reported.
