Anthony Woods, Maryland's secretary of veterans affairs, lost his mom who was an Air Force veteran to suicide. Now he seeks to confront this public health emergency with policy reforms and individual actions. It is interesting to keep a close eye on what states and individuals across the country are doing to reduce veteran suicide, especially because often when success is seen it can be replicated and scaled.

I know too many to list them. And the ways things were going I was considering joining them. I finally got approved for a medication trial and made a huge difference! I also participate in therapy. Which for me is basically vomiting all those intrusive thought out in the session aloud and choosing one to work on. I don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t use street drugs. No one expected me to live this long due to my health and I was sick of being sick. Happy to say I’m still here.

Veterans Must be considered most sacred of all Humans and that's cause they said,Not on my watch will We Fail,we will defend at all cost,Not one Veteran should not be forgiven for any wrongs like I am with which I can not get help finding a section 8 voucher, not Hud voucher,Always wondering if I go homeless this week cause they raised my Rent from$545.00- $875.00 which makes it impose to pay the $330.00 of bills and more, Veterans and their families ought to be protected just like A former POTUS, or senator, but instead we known the Rules well to turn a Veteran around at the door,And make him leave the Homeless Dept with no help

Not to say I am suicide prone,but it does make you wonder what it all was for serving,and Little by little Those in charges make rules to do more harm to Veterans than if they stayed in the battle field,But I still would do it and serve again,Guessing putting down a drinking career is preventing Suicide too.So ,All is left is God's fauthfulness
