The math certainly doesn't add up at face value. Higher wages either come at the cost of lower quality products/outputs or higher prices...sometimes both.

In my opinion they ask for too much. Article Quote: "The union has demanded a 46% increase in general wages over four years. An increase that would raise a top-level assembly plant worker from $32 an hour to about $47.".
46& over 4 years is just too much.

SFC (Join to see) - it's a very ambitious ask. I can't help but wonder if they expect they will actually get 100% or if there's a degree of bluffing.

CPT (Join to see) - Any person/organization asks for more than they want/need, but in my opinion when you're starting point is too extreme it puts public opinion against you. To me public opinion should matter to organizations. Maybe I am just out of touch with negotiations these days.
