(9/21/23) After Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was acquitted of 16 articles for impeachment, he.said he’s reenergized to do his job. He details a wide range of people who have opposed him for some time.

How the Senators voted. Only 2 Republican Senators, Robert Nichols and Kelly Hancock, voted in favor of convicting Atty Gen Paxton on any article of impeachment. The 12 Democratic Senators overwhelmingly voted to convict in most of the articles. In the end, none of the articles received the necessary votes to convict. The trial cost him — over $4 m.

Interesting spread of how it all worked out. On some of these, even the Dems were unconvinced of the charges.

Living in Texas I’m not going to lie. I certainly “sounded” like the opposing side had the evidence initially to convict Paxton. When I read the results of the Senate hearing and what was really said and assumed, I had to scratch my head and ask how the heck it could have passed through the Texas House in the first place.

GySgt Jack Wallace She heard allegations. I’m not sure he admitted it. The Left uses a great many allegations of wrongdoing to bring someone down. (Trump’s an excellent example). It seems to me that the more the Left attacks, it’s usually against good people speaking truth boldly, trying to protect the country, the citizens.
I have come to see that much(or all) of the Left’s allegations (indictments etc) are based on lies.
