104-year-old Springfield WWII veteran celebrates milestone birthday

Happy 104th birthday to WWII U.S. Army Air Corps veteran Stephen Floyd! Mr. Floyd was held as a prisoner for 11 months and didn't think he would make it to his 25th birthday, let alone his 104th. When asked what his secret was to having 104 birthdays, Mr. Floyd said: “Well, believe in the Lord and have a sense of humor. You better have a sense of humor.” What a feel good story with some pearls of wisdom. Thank you Mr. Floyd for your service!
