Jamaal Bowman calls for US to ‘welcome’ Palestinian refugees fleeing Gaza – GOP lawmakers balk

Just for giggles, let's pretend this story is true, Why would we do it? Israel is surrounded by Islamist states. Why don't they take these refugees. Why should we do it? The streets of Gaza regularly see masses of resident demonstrating their hatred of America. Could we do it? We can't afford the flood of "refugees" already breaching our borders illegally. Aren't there plenty of Americans whom we are already stripping of the benefits they earned, paid for, worked for, because our politicians are pandering to immigrants to vote illegally for them?
