It sure is easy for those of us sitting in the comfort of our homes, warm, with a full belly, to express how those unfortunate enough to have been born in poverty, with no opportunity to improve their situation, should react to all this. I believe most of those Palestinians are busy just trying to survive. (much like the Vietnamese of days past)

"Good Palestinians have a choice to make, the same choice good Germans, good Japanese, and good Italians had to make during World War II, or even American colonists during the US Revolutionary War: fight for what’s right or capitulate to tyranny."

Thank you Lt Col Skip Fleshman Those who are complicit or who are silent are part of the problem

22 Years ago, we were also hit hard by a terror faction. We went to the government of Afghanistan and demanded they give up those responsible, denounce terrorism, and work with us to remove them from operating out of their nation. They refused and we went in to remove Al Qaeda and the Taliban government. This was the right thing to do and the fact we've pulled out only highlights a major mistake and weakness on our President's part. Regardless, the Palestinian "government" is essentially operating the same way. They refuse to denounce Hamas and rid their territory of terrorist presence. Israel would even help them do it if they asked. But there has to be an exchange of trust and faith between both parties. But that's not going to happen, the Palestinians will not cooperate, and the Palestinian leadership are not the ones leading. Instead, they hold these positions in name only, hiding behind them as the "legitimate" authority, when we (they) all know the terror factions are the real authority. The people mostly support them openly, the government does it covertly. So, this puts Israel in a difficult position as the Palestinians clearly have control of the narrative and perceptions in the Muslim world. Nothing they can do is good enough, short of leaving the Middle East. Obviously, that is not an option, so the Palestinians are the ones who need to find a way to peacefully coexist in the region or formally declare war as Hamas and the like have essentially done already.
