Great share. I had heard of the whiskey rebellion but read little about it. I often thought it odd and the folks in Pennsylvania who imposed the tax as being “imperial” since we had just fought a war against taxation. Great share and thank you.

The Interstate Highway system is a true blessing to the nation (forgetting that its inspiration was founded in Hitler's great autobahns in Germany). However, it intentionally bypasses distractions in favor of efficiency. We should take every opportunity to travel older highways and byways, forsaking a few miles and minutes saved, to visit forgotten America.
