I never liked "sitcoms" and still don't. Part of this dislike was because of my service-connected hearing loss. I'd not "get" the "punchlines" and would get annoyed when everyone else thought something was funny. When the "Rock Pyle" rumors were tossed about, I thought it couldn't be true because the two men appeared to be so different. How could a "woman's man" fall in love for a goofy guy from Alabama? Until watching this video, I didn't know what happened to Gomer. I didn't know that he died in his sleep in 2017. . . .
