Some are pretty unusual, some are very mundane.

My phone kept glitching within the article so didn’t get to see them all. Will be checking out the tumbleweed Christmas tree, though, as that is just across town and I’d like to do the drive across Arkansas. Some neat things to see :-)

The Christmas tumbleweed tree is a drive up I-10 but we haven't gone to see that. We do our own in the front yard. Ristras are always hung in the house (and I always hope I have enough to last until the next year.) And several times the La Posada tradition came past my law office while I was working late at night. One of our local Catholic schools does the La Posada in the Barrio Viejo, usually a week before Christmas, with all the students participating. When I was in the office, they would knock on the door and I would oblige by telling them there was no room at the inn. I've gone to the Christkindlmarkt a few times in Chicago when we lived there. That place is huge and you can find just about anything Christmas related there. I make my own bourbon soaked harvest cake (I hate that candied fruit stuff in a fruitcake). I'd love to do Christmas in Hawaii with a roasted pig luau. That would be pretty neat and tasty. And I'd like to go check out the bayou bonfires, where hopefully they serve up a big steaming bowl of etouffee!
Great read Lt. Col.!
