We've emptied the treasury and maxed out our credit on insane solutions to a non-existent problem (man-made climate change). There's nothing left to face a real challenge. The only thing saving us is the fact that as our economy falters, so does China's. They made the mistake of following us down the same rabbit hole. Does anyone think that Europe will bail us out the way we've bailed them out of their own messes so often? No, me neither...

IMO, we have been dependent on China for a very long time. People want cheap products.

An article relevant 20 years ago but not to day. Companies have and are moving out of China like they did the Asian Countries in the 90's. Companies. have move facilitates to Vietnam and other countries and the biggest movement has been into Mexico. It's called Nearshoring. The explosion of new warehouse being built is just the beginning of an explosion. Both Eaton and Schneider Electric are expanding operations.
