In foreign policy shift, Biden lifts terrorist designation for Houthis in Yemen

A reflection on how we got here. Biden removed the terrorists designation from Houthis in Yemen in the first year of the Biden administration. Robert Gates, Secretary of Defense under Bush and Obama said Biden was wrong about every foreign policy decision he has ever made. This sure seems to be true as Houthis are backing Hamas in Gaza. Billions in Iranian money was released by Biden to Iran, it appears that Biden isn’t enforcing oil sanctions on Iran. Not w Iran is backing Hamas, the Houthis, and other groups attacking US forces and international shipping. Biden’s foreign policy more closely resembles scattered scrabble pieces than a coherent statement allowing the widening of the Mid East.
