Lt Col Charlie Brown She was offered flights back to the USA. Furthermore, she was administratively discharged therefore has no reason to be on a military base at that point. The fact that she refused to accept her DD214 doesn't make her still on active duty. She was discharged, it was signed by an officer, and whether she likes it or not she is gone. The last year I was in the Corps I was administrative (0121 MOS) so I do have some knowledge of how the process works. We had Marines getting an Undesirable Discharge who refused to sign the papers. We simply put, "SNM refused to sign." (SNM = Subject named Marine) They were still out of the ranks at that point and got their bus ticket back to their home of record. At that point they were no longer welcome on the base.

Whether the COVID vaccine was rescinded or not, at the time she was an active duty Marine and had to obey orders of her superiors. At that time there was no way to predict the COVID mandate would be terminated.

It's tough to get the military to admit they are wrong.
