Marine Corps Will Give 1st Lieutenants Shot at Promotion to Captain Without Selection Board

Personally, I think this is a good move.

I'm not familiar with the promotion rates for O-2 to O-3 in the Marine Corp, but looking at the FY23 AC Captain's there was a 100% selection rate for those that were not administratively eliminated before the board.
