If any other government employees made money from official actions they took, they would be in jail quicker than anyone could believe. Allowing Congress to own any stocks other than what are put in a "blind trust" is just wrong. This is the prime example of a "Conflict of Interest".

It absolutely is a conflict of interest and the primary reason members of Congress leave office. almost without exception, as Millionaires. Its wrong, they know its wrong, guess who made the Law about illegally taking advantage of insider treading, but they won't change it.
