I haven't seen them all, but I've been to most of them. Indeed, I lived and worked in almost all of them at one time or another, and have wonderful memories of each. Today? I wouldn't go near any of them. They're all now asylums run by the inmates. They are sanctuaries for those without skills to thrive or will to survive. They are financial centers bled dry by a government with an insatiable appetite for spending to buy power and, now that all the money and credit has been spent, they are mere ghosts shuffling paper without value while the government prints money without value. The first shots of the next great Civil War are already being fired as refugees from these ghost town flee to the countryside demanding that they are entitled to the necessities of life that self reliant people there produce for themselves. No, these are not the most beautiful cities in the US. They are the breeding grounds of rot and decay to be avoided at all costs.
