Freak badminton accident? I think a little more investigation into her "brother" is warranted! I have played tennis for years and badminton when I was dating eons ago. Since the idea is to keep the shuttlecock flying, I cannot imagine a downward stroke in badminton with sufficient force to break the racquet and imbed part of it in someone's brain.
