October is National Physical Therapy Month! I am grateful to the physical therapists in U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities and beyond, who positively impact the quality of life for veterans and play an important role in the healthcare system.

The VA sure needs fixing with all its wait times and nobody answers your call or you get hung up on or passed from person to person because they don’t know the answer it’s gotten worse and I am a Vietnam era Vets
I only been able to get my health benefits since 2012 because I was told I did not qualify

"Staffing shortages remain “widespread” at the VA despite recent growth in employment, an inspector general report has said, based on a survey in which facilities identified 3,118 shortages across 282 occupations that they deem to be “severe.”
That included 92 percent of Veterans Health Administration facilities reporting severe shortages for nurses, 88 percent for medical officers, 70 percent for medical support assistance and 67 percent for practical nurses."
