The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the American Red Cross are hosting the first-ever Veteran Buddy Check Summit October 22, 2024, from 9:00 – 11:15 a.m.
The summit will feature a Buddy Check Townhall with VA leadership and presentations from such organizations as The American Legion, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, and American Corporate Partners.
Join us online for this special event to kick off Veteran Buddy Check Week, which takes place October 21-25, 2024. Take the Buddy Check Pledge today! #TalktoTen Veteran friends—check in, connect, and increase awareness about valuable VA and community resources.

I still have not found my best Buddy that I found in my service in the army in 1969 1972. I have exhausted. Every means with dead ends on most of them Four the last year.

Have you tried Ancestry dot com? It requires a subscription to view documents, but you can look up folks and get starter information without paying for the site.

LTC Trent Klug thank you, but I have talked to many genealogist and various cities that I knew where my friend lived and nothing
I’ve tried churches in the city that my friend lived in and still nothing. The only one who would do any work for me was a genealogist in Connecticut and he got exhausted.
