A courageous woman from Kenya, Alice Wairimu Nderitu, who serves as the United Nations’ Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide was fired after she stood up to the Israel-haters in the U.N. and refused to declare that Israel has committed “genocide” in its war against Hamas… Nderitu’s office released a guidance paper in 2022 on “when to refer to a situation as ‘genocide.’” She warned that U.N. officials should “adhere to the correct usage” when referring to genocide, noting “its frequent misuse in referring to large scale, grave crimes committed against particular populations.” She pointed out that the term was originally conceived by Polish lawyer Raphael Lemkin in 1944 and meant eliminating entire ethnic groups
